“Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

Explore. Learn. Grow.

Connect With Nature.

  • Forest Kindergarten

Sow the seeds of creativity, curiosity and exploration as we venture into the forest and explore the wonders of nature.

Forest Kindergarten is a seasonal 1 day per week Waldorf influenced program designed for children ages 4-6 years old. This program supports families with homeschool intentions and creates additional community support outside of school meeting times.

  • Forest Homeschool

Join us as we venture into the forest, cultivate a garden, chase wonder, promote well-being and enhance our connection with nature.

Not all schools have 4 walls.

Forest Homeschool is a seasonal 1 day per week program designed for homeschoolers ages 7-12 looking for an interactive and engaging natural science experience.

  • Summer Camps

Thank you kindly for your support & interest in our offerings this past Summer 2024. We are already brainstorming & planning some magical camps for the upcoming season of sunlight.

Summer 2025 details will be shared in February.

On February 1st details will be shared with current nature school families. On February 5th details will be shared with former summer camp families via the Band app. On February 15th details will be shared to the larger public via our newsletter.

  • Mini Monet

The phrase 'en plein air' simply means 'in the open air'. We will embrace the spirit of the 1800's & practice mindful attention to natural light and shadows, all within the natural beauty of the farm & forest. Each session will cover art history in the study of a famous painter, color theory, Waldorf based form drawing, & a guided painting session. Students will paint outdoors with individual easels & watercolor palettes, plus receive a watercolor sketch pad to take home for extended practice. All group paintings will be saved for our final gallery celebration in May.

  • Future Homesteaders

    Love building? Aspiring veterinarian?

Learn in an actual farm setting, through hands-on experience! This program is designed for children who are at least 8 years old.

  • Campfire Conversations

Thank you for a year of soul filling, heart healing balm of in-person community, connection & collaboration with nature inspired educators & nature school directors!

We are taking a pause on this program for ‘24/’25 to direct our energy in planning a local women’s outdoor education conference on the Autumn Equinox 2025. More details to come soon!

    Together, we grow!”

  • Little Farmers

Little Farmers is a guided 8 week program for guardian accompanied little ones who love animals, dirt, gardening and growing things.

This program will be on pause for the 2024/2025 school year. We hope to lead it again in the future!
